On behalf of major European shortsea operators, Cuxport handles a variety of different container types for trucks, rail wagons, inland barges and vessels in the door-to-door business. For customers of the offshore wind industry, we also provide efficient transshipment of DNV 2.7-1 offshore containers.
With a panmax container gantry crane and a harbour crane, Cuxport is well-equipped to manage the rapid transshipment of containers. Modern equipment, such as container reach stackers, serves to further speed up transit times in intermodal transport to meet customers’ requirements for fast container thruput, either by using RoRo (roll-on / roll-off) or LoLo (lift-on / lift-off).
As a neutral service provider, offering everything from container packing services to reefer cooling facilities, we can provide all classic options for container transshipment and flood-protected storage space for our customers. We also handle the stripping and stuffing of containers and all related documentation. Here, too, Cuxport stands for high quality, safety and security.
Cuxport is also experienced in the special requirements of the handling, stripping and stuffing of offshore DNV 2.7-1 containers. In our daily business, we take care of cargo from trucks via our warehouse until the loading onto Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) or Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV). Our service is completed by customs and dangerous goods administration. Goods returning from offshore wind parks are also treated to customers’ full satisfaction.
